i went to Riga and I had fun!!!!!

Heya lovelies I went to Riga this past weekend. Unfortunately I didn't take a lot of pictures. Sorry about that. But I can tell you all about it and share some of the stuff I bought there and what I did. So first of all we went to this big ship called Isabelle. It was really nice and really big, I did most of the shopping onboard. So fast forward to the next day when we finally arrived in Riga. So we took the tram to a big indoors market that sold all sorts of stuff like fresh meat, cheese,bags and clothes. We bought my grandma a new purse since she wanted a new one and a jar of buckwheat honey for my grandpa to put in his tea. Then we went to a four stories high mall not so far from there and I found some really awesome stuff in a book store called Janis Roze.


It was like I died and went to Heaven. Did I mention I like books like a lot? So I looked for some manga because I wanted some new manga and this is what I got at the store.



Two volumes of the One-Punch Man manga (unfortunately the store only had the second and sixth volume. But hey I take what I get or rather I buy what the store has in stock) the Eleventh Doctor Funko Pop was a added bonus...w.ell actually I never planned on buying him until I saw him on the shelf then the plan to only get the OPM manga and leave went completely out of the window. Also I noticed that the store also had it's own shelf for YouTuber books such as Shane Dawson's I Hate Myselfie and Dan and Phil's the Amazing Book Is Not On Fire Then we ate and then we had to go back to the ship. I really didn't wnat to leave but hey I had to get home somehow-

I did buy most of the things onboard. I bought such things as....

These two sets of highly expensive Faber Castell Pitt Artists pens so I can ink the drawings I have not yet inked yet in my sketchbook. The set of black pens cost me about 83 Swedish crowns and the set with the 6 color brush pens cost me about 111 Swedish crowns. (Use a converter to convert it into your currency) but they will be used alot so it wasn't a complete waste of money.


I also bought MLP lip balm  (They all have diffrent scents) and......

this cute coin purse which I store said MLP lipbalms in


And I also bought sme candy...but I decide not to share it with you because frankly I couldn't be bothered :P. But that was pretty much it. I had really fun and I really hope I can go back to Riga next year.

Toku 101: Kamen Rider

Ah Kamen Rider. The best tokusatsu show to come out of Japan (in my humble opinion) I met my best friend through Kamen Rider and I also discovered one of my favorite japanese rock artists through Kamen Rider. Before I start I might as well explain what the hell Kamen Rider is.

To put it as simple as possible. Kamen Rider is created by a man named Shotaro Ishinomori. You could say he is the founder of all Riders. The first series that came out in 1971 Kamen Rider or as he is known now as Kamen Rider Ichigo centers around a college student named Takeshi Hongo he was kidnapped by the evil organization named Shocker and was turned into a killing machine that was meant to serve Shocker. But he saw the errors of his ways and thus became the warrior of justice Kamen Rider #1.

And thus Kamen Rider became the most popular series in Japan.


Showa and Heisei era Riders

Now Kamen Rider is spilt into two different eras. Showa and Heisei

I am both excited and scared for season 2 of Voltron legendary Defender. But I have a Votlron theory.

“Keith… if I don’t make it out of here, I want you to lead Voltron.”

What if and hear me out on this…Shiro doesn’t die. I mean sure it sounds like it judging by what he said in the beginning of the trailer but once you gave more thought of it it is impossible for Keith to lead Voltron. I mean it can mean alot of things but my theory is that Shiro wanted him to take over the black lion. But who will pilot the red lion if Keith takes over the black lion. I mean I have never heard once in the series that one lion had two paladins nor have I heard hat someone can just take over a lion

Anywho then we have the shot of Shiro crying. I have two possible theories. The first one being Shiro is about to be brainwashed by the Galra and that message to Keith was his way of saying good bye (Ah the Shieth feels). My second theory is he is about to be executed by the Galra. and the others come to rescue him.That is what I believe. Team Voltron to the rescue!!!!. I mean Shiro is one of the five main characters…it seems insane for the crew behind Voltron to kill off one of their main characters. Unless…Josh Keaton can no longer be in Voltron. I have heard and seen alot of shows that kill of characters when either the actor can no longer be in the series or (Like did you see Glee???)   if the actor has other roles to do. 

But hey it is just a theory….a Voltron heory

Rachel & Jun and 3 reasons why I like them

So recently I discovered this married YouTube couple named Rachel & Jun. Rachel hails from Cincinnati (Did i spell that right?) and Jun of course hails from Aichi Japan (if I remember that correctly) They mainly make videos about Japan and it's culture. They are really great and if you wnat to learn more about Japan and the country's culture I highly recommend checking them out. Now here is a list of the reasons I like Rachel & Jun.


Reason 1: They are such an adorable couple once such good example is their video of them going to IKEA and Rachel and Jun trying to pronounce the Swedish name of the IKEA products. Seeing as I am Swedish I found it extra adorable.

Reason 2: Jun is a cook (He has his own cooking channel called Jun's Kitchen  on YouTube where he cooks delicious looking Japnese dishes and even desserts ). Imsgne Jun cooking Rachel something for Valentine's Day (Technically he kinda did for the Japanese holiday White Day)  or their wedding anniversary. How romantic #RelationshipGoals


Reason 3: Their videos about Japan are freaking educational. If you want to learn more about Japan then this is the best YouTube channel for it.
